Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI)

About

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion is committed to fostering a sense of belonging for all who live, work, learn and do business in the City of Medford.

We do this by upholding the civil rights laws, ensuring equitable access to city services, resources, programs, meetings and events regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, religion, age, disability status, language ability, socio-economic status, immigration status and political affiliation.

The Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion addresses inequities, institutional and systemic racism through its work across all Medford services and departments as well as advocacy with external agencies on a state and federal level.
