
Council on Aging Volunteer

Our volunteers are vital to the success of our programs, helping to create a warm, welcoming, and engaging environment for Medford's older adults.
Volunteer Opportunities May Include:
- Front Desk Greeter – Welcome visitors, answer phones, and assist with basic information.
- Meals & Kitchen Helper – Support our lunch program by setting up, serving, and cleaning up.
- Event Support – Assist with special events, seasonal celebrations, and concerts.
- Activity Leader – Lead or assist with games, arts and crafts, book clubs, or fitness classes.
- Transportation Escort – Ride along with group trips and help seniors safely board buses or vans.
- Technology Tutor – Help older adults learn how to use smartphones, tablets, or computers.
- Friendly Visitor – Provide companionship to isolated seniors through regular visits or phone calls.
- Administrative Support – Help with mailings, filing, or data entry in the office.
- Outreach Volunteer – Distribute flyers or help spread the word about upcoming programs in the community.
