Medford Selects Members for Neighborhood Ambassador Taskforce

Thirteen community members have been selected to serve on the newly created Neighborhood Ambassador Taskforce, Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced. The mission of the group is to help strengthen relationships with the community and enhance the City’s communication efforts through more direct contact. 

Ambassadors were picked based on their experience and connections to their neighborhoods. They will meet monthly with City staff and are tasked with providing insights and suggestions to the Mayor’s Office and Communications Department on relevant issues affecting residents and community members to help inform communication and community outreach efforts.  

The taskforce will be chaired by Milva McDonald and is comprised of the following members representing eight neighborhoods throughout Medford:

City communications are available through the City website at medfordma.org, the Mayor’s newsletter, the reverse-911 robo call system, social media platforms, Medford Community Media, direct mail and more, and this is a way to further enhance all the information being distributed by the City on a daily/weekly basis.
