Medford Community Development Board Seeks Applicants
The City of Medford is looking to fill vacancies on the Community Development Board, Mayor Breanna Lungo-Koehn announced.
The Board’s responsibilities include administration of the Subdivision Control Law, conducting site plan review for major projects, reviewing, and recommending changes to the Zoning Ordinance as well as discussing and implementing proposed zoning changes, and general planning to guide growth and development in a coordinated and comprehensive manner.
Board members receive a $900 yearly stipend and meetings are generally held at 6:30 p.m. on the first and third Wednesday of every month. Residents of all backgrounds and abilities are strongly encouraged to apply, especially those with a background in planning, construction, transportation, landscape design and other related fields. Medford city services are available to all residents, regardless of economic situation, race, gender, ability, benefit eligibility, or religious affiliation.
