Fire Engine 3 Closed for Renovation

Fire Engine 3 Closed for Renovation

The Medford Fire Department has begun work on the floor slab replacement and front ramp at the Engine 3 Fire Station at 276 Salem Street. The work begins on Monday, March 27 and will take approximately four months to complete.

Engine 3 will be closed beginning on Sunday, March 26 at 8am and will remain closed until the project is complete. Ladder 2 will remain in service, running out of the Headquarters Station, and the rest of the Engine 3 apparatus will be stored at Engine 4. The station closure is necessary for the health and safety of the firefighters and to allow construction crews to complete this work as fast as possible.

In case of an emergency, please dial 911. During this construction project, only construction crews will be working at Engine 3. All other engines will be open as normal.
