City Hosting Compost Giveaway and Bin Distribution Event on May 18
Pick up your free bin and compost from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the parking lot behind City Hall
The City of Medford along with its composting provider Garbage to Garden will be distributing curbside composting bins and free compost (one bag limit per household while supplies last) for Medford residents eligible for the new City composting program on Saturday, May 18 from 10am-2pm at City Hall.
Residents will receive their 12-gallon rolling, locking curbside composting bin and finished compost. This event is for anyone already on the waitlist for the composting program or anyone who wishes to join the waitlist.
On July 1, 2024, the City is launching its FREE weekly curbside composting program for eligible residents. To be eligible to participate in this program, residents must live in a building with 4 units or less. Enrollment is limited for the first year of this program, so sign up today at medfordcomposts.com.
Garbage to Garden staff and volunteers will be available to help you sign up for this program and answer any questions you might have.
