Faces of Medford is a project of the Office of Human Diversity, the Jonathan M. Tisch College of Citizenship and Public Service at Tufts University, and the Medford Human Rights Commission.
It is a traveling exhibit to highlight and celebrate the diversity of Medford families while showing the similarities of these families. Each family’s picture was together with a narrative about the family, including their hopes and dreams. The pictures showed the differences while the stories showed the similarities.
“Family has little to do with genes, geography, or physical characteristics. Family is an emotional connection; family is caring; family is sharing. Family is LOVE.”
