ATTENTION CURRENT VOLUNTEERS and THOSE INTERESTED: Mystic Valley Medical Reserve Corp is now part of the State’s MA Responds system. Even if you have registered in the past you must use the process below to re-register to be a Volunteer in the Mystic Valley MRC.
Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Mystic Valley Medical Reserve Corps (MRC)!
The first step in becoming a volunteer for the Mystic Valley MRC is to register at MA Responds, https://www.maresponds.org/. MA Responds is a centralized volunteer registry with a secure web-based system that integrates local, regional, and statewide volunteer programs (including the Mystic Valley MRC). Although MA Responds is managed by the Massachusetts Department of Public Health (MDPH), only your local unit leaders will contact you for trainings and/or activations, and your information will not be shared with other groups.
As part of the registration process in MA Responds, you will create a username and password, so that you can manage your profile. As a nurse, you will need also need to include your relevant nursing license and certification information. Once you have registered in MA Responds, a background check will then be conducted.
Thank you again for your interest in becoming a volunteer for the Mystic Valley MRC!
