The Medford Arts Council offers reimbursement grants to individuals and organizations throughout the region seeking to engage the Medford public. Each year they fund public activities in the areas of the humanities, arts, and interpretive sciences, including concerts, exhibits, public art, festivals, performances, classes, and school field trips.
They have four local priorities to help attract proposals in particular areas. They will continue to fund proposals in a wide range of disciplines but are especially interested in ideas for:
- Public art
- Projects to enhance the public experience in our neighborhood squares
- Partnerships and collaborations of many kinds—cross-sector, multidisciplinary, public-privates, etc.
- The humanities and interpretive sciences.
