Mayor Stephanie M. Burke formally announced her appointment of Allie Fiske as the Executive Assistant — Business and Cultural Liaison. Allie has 9 years of experience working within the Medford community including former Program Manager of Springstep, a previous member of the Medford Arts Council and the current Program Director of CACHE. Most recently, Allie worked at the New England Foundation for the Arts in Boston managing a directory of the creative sector.
“We are thrilled to have Allie’s immense experience in the arts and cultural community. Allie understands the impact the arts has on business vitality! She will add great value to my administration and the City,” said Mayor Burke. “Allie will be presenting the Report issued by the Transition Team on Arts, Culture and Recreation in the upcoming weeks.”
In her time working in Medford, Fiske has formed strong relationships with the cultural institutions and small businesses in the city, partnerships that will serve her well in this new position.
“I’m looking forward to continuing to develop the partnerships I’ve formed with the many different institutions in Medford and serving as an effective liaison between these entities and the City of Medford,” said Ms. Fiske.
