Update February 25, 2015
The snow emergency was lifted as of 9:00AM Wednesday, February 25.
Due to amount of snow and the narrowness of the roads, all residents are advised that the ODD/EVEN winter parking ban shall remain in effect until further notice. Parking is allowed on the EVEN side only for this winter season, unless otherwise restricted or exempted.
We ask that all residents and motorists use a common sense approach when parking on Medford streets. Please do not park in such a way that will impede the free flow of traffic. Violators shall be subject to ticketing and towing. We appreciate your continued cooperation. Thank you.
Please be advised that a Snow Emergency will be in effect Tuesday night at midnight until further notice.
While the Snow Emergency is in effect, the Winter Parking Restrictions will be enforced.
No parking is allowed on either side of any street that is designated as an emergency artery (see list below).
During the snow emergency, the odd-even winter parking restrictions shall be in effect on all side streets, 24 hours a day, until the snow emergency is lifted. This winter, parking will be allowed on the even side only unless otherwise restricted. Vehicles parked in violation shall be ticketed and towed. We need everyone’s cooperation in order to keep our roads open and accessible.
The following streets are designated as emergency arteries and parking is not allowed during a snow emergency:
Boston Avenue, Central Avenue, College Avenue from George Street to Boston Avenue, Forest Street, Fulton Street, George Street, Governors Avenue, Grove Street, Hancock Street, Harvard Avenue, Harvard Street, High Street, Lawrence Road, Main Street, Medford Street, Mystic Avenue from Main Street to Crescent Street, Playstead Road, Riverside Avenue, Salem Street, Spring Street, Washington Street, Webster Street, Willis Avenue, Winthrop Street and Woburn.
