On Saturday, May 4th, Medford Square will get a little greener—and cleaner—thanks to several local organizations and businesses that are working together. For the third year in a row, Green Medford and many friends will bring you the Medford Square Earth Day Clean-up and Festival. The festival will be held on from 9:30 to 2 pm, under tents at the Medford Farmers Market location on Riverside Avenue, across the street from the Hyatt Place Hotel.
The activities will include:

– Announcement of the 2013 Medford Green Awards application (9:30-10 am)
– Cleanup activities 10am-12pm
– Gardening workshops 10am-12:45pm
– Open-air yoga class
– Lunch for participants (12-1pm)
– Environmental bike tour (12:30-2pm)
All activities are open to the public and are free to participants.
