There will be no school in Medford on Tuesday, February 12, 2013. It is our hope that this will give residents another day to be able to shovel their walkways in preparation for children to walk safely to school.
The DPW is cleaning bus stops today and will continue to do so tomorrow. In addition, they will continue to knock down high mounds of snow for the safety of children walking to school and for those who wait for the bus to get into work.
Medford Public School roofs began having snow cleared from them beginning at 4 PM Monday afternoon.
Please be advised that Monday night’s School Committee meeting has been postponed.
Trash removal will continue its normal pick up schedule.
The Medford Fire Dept continues to clean out fire hydrants. Residents are urged to clear any excess snow around the hydrants.
We want to thank everyone for their tremendous cooperation and understanding during this historic and dangerous storm. Medford fared very well due to the commitment and dedication of Medford’s public employees working together with our residents.
